Philipse Brook House

The contradiction is that its a big little house. While the house is difficult to comprehend at first, as it is a bit of a warren of additions on several different levels, there is that wonderful sense of discovery one finds in an antique farmhouse where the architecture does not all make immediate sense. Often rooms are discovered rather than approached.
